# What we make

Guesteria is the hotel’s own platform: the guest goes through the stay in an app, and the desk and the floor carry it in one flow.

The guest journey

1 Booked The room is booked

2 Pre check-in The form, online

3 Check-in The key, at the desk

4 In-stay The hotel’s services

5 Before check-out A link, a day ahead

6 Pre check-out The form, online

7 Check-out The keys handed back

8 Stay feedback A review is asked for

Who we are

A EU company with Ukrainian roots and product thinking.

Who we build it for

For hotels, receptionists and guests: steadier operations, higher profit, and a holiday worth remembering.

Direction

# Where we are going

Hotels build the stay. We help guests enjoy it.

We remove what stands between a guest and the experience the hotel already built for him.

What we are heading for

The guest opens everything the hotel prepared for him inside the messenger he already uses. One link, and he is in.

![Lukas Brandt of Guesteria going through the launch checklist with Klaus Reinhardt, the hotel’s owner-manager](https://brand.guesteria.com/assets/photos/pair--launch-checklist--mid-port--v1.jpg)

How we work

# Values

01 Honesty We name the problem out loud, even inside our own work, and we answer for making it workable. Honesty is worth exactly what can be applied from it.

02 Tolerance We take every piece of feedback as constructive by default and work it through. Whoever gives it answers for there being something in it to act on.

03 Joy We do the work that interests us, and we look for the interest in the work that comes to us. Less, done with talent, and chosen on purpose.

04 Empathy Human-centred in the product and in the team: people make the story, the tools help them. We give our own the time and the means to move to a new tool, and measure by it afterwards. We are the ones who build the sound transition — horses to cars, telegraph to internet.

05 Creativity Creativity grows out of calm. We cut the time a manager spends on operations — through features, automation, the product itself. The hour we hand back he spends on himself, on the guest, and on doing it better.

When two collide, honesty wins — it is first on the list.

The other four are spoken through it.

Who we build for

# User personas

The guest ![Stefan Vogt in a lobby armchair at the Hanseblick, booking an activity in the hotel’s app](https://brand.guesteria.com/assets/photos/weekend-guest--lobby-armchair-buy--mid-port--v1.jpg)

Stefan Vogt

Weekend guest · Hanseblick Hotel, Hamburg · books an activity from the armchair

The front desk ![Camille Rougier at the Roqueterre vestibule desk, writing the house’s own answers](https://brand.guesteria.com/assets/photos/reception-manager--vestibule-answers--mid-land--v1.jpg)

Camille Rougier

Reception manager · Domaine de Roqueterre, Dordogne · writes the house’s own answers once

Hotel staff ![Montse Ferrer in the linen room at the Mirall, reading the day’s tasks on her phone](https://brand.guesteria.com/assets/photos/housekeeper--shift-start-tasklist--mid-port--v1.jpg)

Montse Ferrer

Housekeeper · Mirall Hoteles, Barcelona · reads the day’s tasks before the shift

The guest

# Stefan Vogt

Weekend guest · Hanseblick Hotel, Hamburg · easy-going, practical, travel-tired

Today

A queue at the desk. He looks round for anything about the city and finds a flyer stand from last season.

With Guesteria

He scans the code on the wall with the bag still on his shoulder, and the Wi-Fi, the house rules and what is nearby open at once.

The result

He opens one activity, sees the price and where Buy takes him, and books it from the lobby armchair.

How he describes the trip himself: “I booked the train and the room. The days we make up when we get there.”

The front desk

# Camille Rougier

Reception manager · Domaine de Roqueterre, Dordogne · holds the château’s admin account and works in the console every day

Today

The dinner rush and check-in at once. The same questions about zone hours and activities run through the desk all day.

With Guesteria

She writes the hotel’s pages once — zone hours, house rules, the answers she repeats — and switches on the activities that suit these guests.

The result

She points the guest to the code on the wall: the hours, the answers and the booking are in his phone, and the desk stays free for the people in front of it.

What her job is, in the cast’s own words: “A front-of-house team of two or three covers the desk and the restaurant’s own reservation line together.”

Hotel staff

# Montse Ferrer

Housekeeper · Mirall Hoteles, Barcelona · brisk, proud of her floor, wary of anything that adds a step

Today

Tasks arrive by hand, from several departments at once, and the handover between shifts lives in someone’s memory.

With Guesteria

She reads the day’s tasks on her phone before the shift starts: the room, the priority and when it is due.

The result

She takes a room and marks Start and Finish with her thumb. The desk sees where the task stands, and the last room is closed before she leaves.

What she wants from a shift, in the cast’s own words: “To know the next room, its priority and when it is due.”

# 4 problems

![A stack of blank paper curling on the reception counter, a pen lying across it and a tray of blank key cards at the edge](https://brand.guesteria.com/assets/photos/object--flyer-stack--close-square--v1.jpg)

01

The guest

Guests look for what to do. They ask the desk, then Google, and book elsewhere.

![The check-in rush at the desk, a queue and the phone ringing](https://brand.guesteria.com/assets/photos/front-office-manager--checkin-rush--wide-land--v1.jpg)

02

The front desk

The same questions run through the desk all day — up to an hour of the shift. The flyers on the counter are out of date.

![The linen trolley in the corridor between two rooms](https://brand.guesteria.com/assets/photos/housekeeper--corridor-turnover--wide-land--v1.jpg)

03

The staff

Tasks reach the floor by hand, from several departments at once. They arrive late, or they get lost.

![Klaus Reinhardt beside the printed flyer stand in his own lobby, the desk behind him](https://brand.guesteria.com/assets/photos/owner-manager--lobby-flyer-stand--wide-land--v1.jpg)

04

The owner

Guests spend money on tours and restaurants in the city. That revenue passes the hotel by.

Solution

# Platform

The Guesteria platform is made of 3 applications — the guest app, the front desk panel and the staff app. One request travels through all three, from the guest’s tap to the staff’s done.

Front desk panel

Desktop, 1296 × 848

![The Front Desk console: arrivals, in-house and departures by hour, live chats and requests](https://brand.guesteria.com/assets/screens/frontdesk/device-dashboard.png)

Guest app

Phone, 446 × 948

![The Guest app during the stay: hotel rules, Wi-Fi, recommended services and activities](https://brand.guesteria.com/assets/screens/guest/device-in-stay.png)

Staff app

Phone, 446 × 948

![The Staff app task feed: every card with its room, requester and state](https://brand.guesteria.com/assets/screens/staff/device-tasks.png)

Platform

# Guest app

A mobile app, a web app and a bot in WhatsApp. The guest opens it from the code in the room, and the browser he already has is enough.

01 Online check-in and check-out

02 Activities and services near the hotel, booked in the app

03 The hotel’s own pages: Wi-Fi, house rules, FAQ, zones and their hours

04 Chat with reception, translated in place

05 Quick requests from the room: towels, breakfast, a taxi

06 The same app mirrored into WhatsApp

![Stefan Vogt scanning the code by the door of his room, the bag still on his shoulder](https://brand.guesteria.com/assets/photos/weekend-guest--room-code-scan--close-port--v1.jpg)

Platform

# Front desk panel

One desktop web client for reception and management. It is where the hotel writes itself down and where every request lands.

01 The request and task panel, with routing set once

02 Guest chat, with templates and AI translation

03 The activity list, with a switch on each one and the region to check

04 The console the desk writes: rooms, zones, FAQ and the hotel’s own pages

05 Analytics on service, upsells and staff efficiency

06 Two to three days of setup help, a knowledge base and support tickets

![Antje Bergmann going through the loaded activities on the console behind the desk](https://brand.guesteria.com/assets/photos/front-office-manager--console-activities-loaded--mid-land--v1.jpg)

Platform

# Staff app

A mobile app, a web app and WhatsApp. Tasks, the schedule and the shift’s own chat, on the phone already in the pocket.

01 A task feed for today, with priority, room and requester on every card

02 Get, Start and Finish, so the desk sees where a task stands

03 A checklist with photos and comments inside the task

04 Day, week and month schedule, with day-off and shift-swap requests

05 Chat with the front desk and the team, translated in place

06 Notifications in the app and in WhatsApp

The scope of the staff app is still being confirmed for the October release, and the subscription’s Rapid plan covers the guest app and the front desk panel. The list above is assembled from the PRD, the store package and the value proposition canvas.

Content island, on a tint

Three paragraphs lift off a coloured ground in a rounded island whose corner tracks its own type size. Inside it a phrase takes the inline highlight.

![The lobby of the Hanseblick in the morning: stone, wood and one window of daylight](https://brand.guesteria.com/assets/photos/ground--hanseblick-lobby-morning--wide-land--v1.jpg)

Frost, over a photograph

The ink frost takes light text and sits only over a ground. A phrase inside it takes the rounded wrapper.

The wide round block

The radius is the maximum the browser allows, so a wider-than-tall panel becomes a stadium, and the side padding equals that radius so the copy clears the rounded ends. One block per view.

# The photo sets

Daylight and real materials: wood, stone, plaster, linen and wool, with their wear. The photo kit pictures each persona’s own narrative — the day as it runs, the point where Guesteria reaches her, and what it improves there.

![Stefan Vogt scanning the code by the door of his room](https://brand.guesteria.com/assets/photos/weekend-guest--room-code-scan--close-port--v1.jpg)

![Camille Rougier showing a guest the code on the wall](https://brand.guesteria.com/assets/photos/reception-manager--points-to-console--wide-land--v1.jpg)

![The Roqueterre dining room, laid and empty before service](https://brand.guesteria.com/assets/photos/ground--roqueterre-restaurant--wide-land--v1.jpg)

The narrative

Every persona has her own line through the set: the day as it runs today, the moment the product reaches her, and what her day looks like after.

The contact point

One frame per persona shows the exact moment of contact — the code on the wall, the task on the phone, the activity in the app.

The grounds

Three hosts carry the whole set — Hanseblick in Hamburg, Mirall in Barcelona, Roqueterre in the Dordogne — and each keeps its own cast.

# Open decisions

| # | Item | Blocks | Owner | Tag |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 1 | The cover’s two descriptors exist in no source. The product line and the marketing line were drafted for this round; three candidates of each went to the owner with the book. | Cover | Owner | Open |
| 2 | The product descriptor the cover carried until this round was the formula tone-of-voice lists as a Don’t (“guest experience platform for hotels”). The new line says the same thing without it. | Cover | Product owner | Confirmed |
| 3 | “Responsibility for how honesty is applied” is the owner’s own instruction of 2026-09-25. In the record that sentence sits under Tolerance, not under Honesty. His later word governs; the register keeps the earlier placement. | Values | Owner | Confirmed |
| 4 | No frame of a female Guesteria employee with a hotel manager exists. Sophie Wagner, the only woman on the Guesteria side of the cast, was never shot. Sheet 4 carries the nearest true frame: Lukas Brandt with Klaus Reinhardt, the roles right and the gender not. | Direction | Photo-kit owner | Open |
| 5 | The staff app’s scope is not confirmed for the October release and the Rapid plan excludes it. Its sheet says so on its own face and the feature list is assembled from the PRD, the store package and the canvas. | Staff app | Product owner | Open |
| 6 | No brand face is in this package. No font file exists anywhere in this organization, no artifact declares an @font-face, and design-md, which owns the type tokens, ships none. The specimens render in the reader’s system font. | Typography | Design-md owner | Open |
| 7 | The front-desk persona moved from Antje Bergmann to Camille Rougier so that the three personas come from three different hosts, as the owner asked. Antje Bergmann stays in the book on the product and application sheets. | User personas, sheet 8 | Product owner | Confirmed |
| 8 | The hotel names in the book are the fictional set the cast now carries — Hanseblick, Mirall, Roqueterre. The photo filenames still carry the old slugs; that is the photo kit’s register to move, not this book’s. | Every sheet with a photograph | Photo-kit owner | Open |
| 9 | The type contract still requires a donts block and a files block. The owner removed every negation from the book, so the donts block has no sheet; what it held is stated as permission on the logo sheet. The files block is answered by the closing sheet’s address. | Contract coverage | Framework auditor | Open |
| 10 | Point of view and inner voice are the only quotable character lines in brand-cast and both are tagged Assumed. The three sheets attribute each line to the person and to what it is about, rather than presenting it as recorded speech. | Sheets 7-9 | Brand-cast owner | Confirmed |
| 11 | The three device exports are copied from sources/app/screens/, which is not a declared consumes edge of this type. They are used at native size: the console 1296 × 848, the two phones 446 × 948, neither cropped nor upscaled. | Platform | Framework auditor | Open |
| 12 | housekeeper--room-task-done--mid-port--v1.jpg is the only frame of a staff task being closed in a room, and the housekeeper in it looks to camera, which the photo kit’s own art direction rules out. It carries sheets 9, 14 and 21 meanwhile. | Sheets 9, 14, 21 | Photo-kit owner | Open |
| 13 | The photo register disagrees with the disk on one line: pair--training-morning--mid-land--v1 is listed as .jpeg and the disk holds .png. That frame is not used in this book. | Photo kit | Photo-kit owner | Open |

- 37 inline drawings are not text and do not travel; none carries a title to write in its place.
- 19 in-page links are written as plain text.
- Colour, type and spacing values that live only in the page's stylesheet are not restated here; the ramp itself is `design/brand.json`.
