What we make

Who we are

A EU company with Ukrainian roots and product thinking.

Who we build it for

For hotels, receptionists and guests: steadier operations, higher profit, and a holiday worth remembering.

Direction

Where we are going

Hotels build the stay.
We help guests enjoy it.

We remove what stands between a guest and the experience the hotel already built for him.

What we are heading for

The guest opens everything the hotel prepared for him inside the messenger he already uses. One link, and he is in.

Lukas Brandt of Guesteria going through the launch checklist with Klaus Reinhardt, the hotel’s owner-manager

How we work

Values

01HonestyWe name the problem out loud, even inside our own work, and we answer for making it workable. Honesty is worth exactly what can be applied from it.
02ToleranceWe take every piece of feedback as constructive by default and work it through. Whoever gives it answers for there being something in it to act on.
03JoyWe do the work that interests us, and we look for the interest in the work that comes to us. Less, done with talent, and chosen on purpose.
04EmpathyHuman-centred in the product and in the team: people make the story, the tools help them. We give our own the time and the means to move to a new tool, and measure by it afterwards. We are the ones who build the sound transition — horses to cars, telegraph to internet.
05CreativityCreativity grows out of calm. We cut the time a manager spends on operations — through features, automation, the product itself. The hour we hand back he spends on himself, on the guest, and on doing it better.

When two collide, honesty wins — it is first on the list.

The other four are spoken through it.

Stefan Vogt on the harbour cruise he booked from the armchair

Today

A queue at the desk. He looks round for anything about the city and finds a flyer stand from last season.

With Guesteria

He scans the code on the wall with the bag still on his shoulder, and the Wi-Fi, the house rules and what is nearby open at once.

The result

He opens one activity, sees the price and where Buy takes him, and books it from the lobby armchair.

How he describes the trip himself: “I booked the train and the room. The days we make up when we get there.”

Camille Rougier

Reception manager · Domaine de Roqueterre, Dordogne · holds the château’s admin account and works in the console every day

Camille Rougier writing the house’s own answers at the vestibule desk
The dinner rush at Roqueterre, the restaurant’s own line and check-in at once
Camille Rougier showing a guest the code on the wall instead of reaching for the phone

Today

The dinner rush and check-in at once. The same questions about zone hours and activities run through the desk all day.

With Guesteria

She writes the hotel’s pages once — zone hours, house rules, the answers she repeats — and switches on the activities that suit these guests.

The result

She points the guest to the code on the wall: the hours, the answers and the booking are in his phone, and the desk stays free for the people in front of it.

What her job is, in the cast’s own words: “A front-of-house team of two or three covers the desk and the restaurant’s own reservation line together.”

Hotel staff

Montse Ferrer reading the day’s tasks on her phone at the start of her shift
Montse Ferrer moving the linen trolley along the corridor between two rooms
Montse Ferrer marking the room finished on her phone, the bed made behind her

Today

Tasks arrive by hand, from several departments at once, and the handover between shifts lives in someone’s memory.

With Guesteria

She reads the day’s tasks on her phone before the shift starts: the room, the priority and when it is due.

The result

She takes a room and marks Start and Finish with her thumb. The desk sees where the task stands, and the last room is closed before she leaves.

What she wants from a shift, in the cast’s own words: “To know the next room, its priority and when it is due.”

01

The guest

Guests look for what to do. They ask the desk, then Google, and book elsewhere.

02

The front desk

The same questions run through the desk all day — up to an hour of the shift. The flyers on the counter are out of date.

03

The staff

Tasks reach the floor by hand, from several departments at once. They arrive late, or they get lost.

04

The owner

Guests spend money on tours and restaurants in the city. That revenue passes the hotel by.

Solution

Platform

The Guesteria platform is made of 3 applications — the guest app, the front desk panel and the staff app. One request travels through all three, from the guest’s tap to the staff’s done.

Front desk panel

Desktop, 1296 × 848

The Front Desk console: arrivals, in-house and departures by hour, live chats and requests

Guest app

Phone, 446 × 948

The Guest app during the stay: hotel rules, Wi-Fi, recommended services and activities

Staff app

Phone, 446 × 948

The Staff app task feed: every card with its room, requester and state

Platform

Guest app

A mobile app, a web app and a bot in WhatsApp. The guest opens it from the code in the room, and the browser he already has is enough.

01Online check-in and check-out
02Activities and services near the hotel, booked in the app
03The hotel’s own pages: Wi-Fi, house rules, FAQ, zones and their hours
04Chat with reception, translated in place
05Quick requests from the room: towels, breakfast, a taxi
06The same app mirrored into WhatsApp
Stefan Vogt scanning the code by the door of his room, the bag still on his shoulder

Platform

Front desk panel

One desktop web client for reception and management. It is where the hotel writes itself down and where every request lands.

01The request and task panel, with routing set once
02Guest chat, with templates and AI translation
03The activity list, with a switch on each one and the region to check
04The console the desk writes: rooms, zones, FAQ and the hotel’s own pages
05Analytics on service, upsells and staff efficiency
06Two to three days of setup help, a knowledge base and support tickets
Antje Bergmann going through the loaded activities on the console behind the desk

Platform

Staff app

A mobile app, a web app and WhatsApp. Tasks, the schedule and the shift’s own chat, on the phone already in the pocket.

01A task feed for today, with priority, room and requester on every card
02Get, Start and Finish, so the desk sees where a task stands
03A checklist with photos and comments inside the task
04Day, week and month schedule, with day-off and shift-swap requests
05Chat with the front desk and the team, translated in place
06Notifications in the app and in WhatsApp

The scope of the staff app is still being confirmed for the October release, and the subscription’s Rapid plan covers the guest app and the front desk panel. The list above is assembled from the PRD, the store package and the value proposition canvas.

How we speak

Icons and blocks

Five handcrafted glyphs, one stroke each, the set closed. Bare is the default and inherits the text colour; wrapped on a disc, the disc carries the role tint.

icon--document
icon--location
icon--phone
icon--heart

A functional icon sits opposite the block it belongs to, pinned to a corner or an axis. The brand mark is a separate thing, and one creative carries one of them.

Content island, on a tint

Three paragraphs lift off a coloured ground in a rounded island whose corner tracks its own type size. Inside it a phrase takes the inline highlight.

The lobby of the Hanseblick in the morning: stone, wood and one window of daylight

Frost, over a photograph

The ink frost takes light text and sits only over a ground. A phrase inside it takes the rounded wrapper.

The wide round block

The radius is the maximum the browser allows, so a wider-than-tall panel becomes a stadium, and the side padding equals that radius so the copy clears the rounded ends. One block per view.

Visual communication · 3 of 3

The photo sets

Daylight and real materials: wood, stone, plaster, linen and wool, with their wear. The photo kit pictures each persona’s own narrative — the day as it runs, the point where Guesteria reaches her, and what it improves there.

Stefan Vogt scanning the code by the door of his room
Camille Rougier showing a guest the code on the wall
Montse Ferrer marking the room finished on her phone
Nora Hoffmann arriving through the glass entrance of the Mirall
The Hanseblick lobby in the morning
The daylit lobby of the Mirall, Barcelona
The Roqueterre terrace looking down the valley
The Roqueterre dining room, laid and empty before service

The narrative

Every persona has her own line through the set: the day as it runs today, the moment the product reaches her, and what her day looks like after.

The contact point

One frame per persona shows the exact moment of contact — the code on the wall, the task on the phone, the activity in the app.

The grounds

Three hosts carry the whole set — Hanseblick in Hamburg, Mirall in Barcelona, Roqueterre in the Dordogne — and each keeps its own cast.
